Alex Palmer has worked as a carpenter across west Wiltshire for years, and Trowbridge is home. That means small jobs are worth doing properly rather than squeezing between bigger ones, and it means you can ring the person who will actually turn up.
The work splits about evenly between fitted joinery and building carpentry. Fitted wardrobes, alcove storage, kitchens and media walls on one side; staircases, loft conversion carpentry, extension first and second fix, doors, skirting and architrave on the other. Repairs to period joinery, gates and external timber run right through the middle of it, and no job is too small to quote for.
Every project is finished by the person who started it. There is no team of subcontractors and no site foreman — which is slower to book and better to live with.
