Bedroom storage
A fitted wardrobe changes a bedroom more than any other single piece of work in it. Done properly it takes the storage up to the ceiling, closes the dead strip beside a chimney breast, and gives you the floor back — which in a Salisbury box room or a cottage bedroom is the difference between a room that works and a room you edge around.
We design yours on a free home visit, make it, and fit it. Hinged, sliding or walk-in; hand-painted, spray-lacquered, or solid oak, ash and walnut; hanging rails, drawer banks, shoe racks and lighting laid out around what you actually own rather than a standard internal. Soft-close hinges and full-extension runners by Blum or Hettich throughout.

New door linings squared and fitted through a whole house, doors hung to close on the latch first time, then architrave and skirting run throughout and mitred to the corners the house actually had rather than the ones it should have had.
Tongue-and-groove panelling fitted around a basin and boxed cistern, scribed to walls that were nowhere near square.
Every other fitted wardrobe result for Salisbury will point you at a showroom. We do not have one, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
What you get instead is the design visit happening in your bedroom, with your walls, your light and your ceiling height, which is more useful than a display bay under retail lighting. Samples come to you. And the money that would go into a showroom lease goes into the wardrobe instead — which is most of the reason a made-to-measure wardrobe from a working joiner comes in at or below a national semi-custom range.

Questions
As a working guide, a painted fitted wardrobe with hinged doors, rails and shelving runs from roughly £900 to £1,400 per linear metre, fitted. Sliding doors, drawer banks and hardwood fronts push it up; an open alcove wardrobe comes in under it. You get a firm written price after a free home visit.
No — and we would rather be straight about that than imply otherwise. We are a workshop-based joiner, so the design visit happens in your bedroom, with the actual walls and the actual light, which is more use than a showroom anyway. Samples of finishes and hardware come with us.
Yes, and it is where fitted joinery earns its money. Walls that lean, floors that fall away and ceilings with a beam in them are all scribed to rather than fought. Much of central Salisbury is listed or in a conservation area, so we will flag it if we think fixing into historic fabric needs consent.
